Year 11 Graduation Ceremony

The Year 11 Graduation Committee are currently working hard to organise what promises to be an exciting, memorable evening to celebrate the end of our IGCSE studies in June. From fundraising, to stage design, DJs and photobooths, our dedicated team have got it covered.

The first of our fundraising events starts today with a pizza sale at lunch-time- remember to come along and grab a slice and support our efforts! The second pizza sale is on Friday 13th March.

Auditions will also be taking place in the coming weeks for students who want to perform at the ceremony- watch this space for more exciting details!

Positive Education

In Positive Education this week, Year 11 students looked at the importance of managing stress and maintaining a healthy lifestyle whilst studying for IGCSEs. Students learnt about a variety of stress-management techniques and were given tips to help them manage their time and workload more effectively. Hopefully, the key message students took away from the session is that success starts with a healthy body and healthy mind... and this includes getting at least 8 hours of sleep a night!

Kyung Chan Lee- Maths genius!

Congratulations to our very own Kyung Chan Lee (11G) who got full marks in the UKMT Senior Mathematics Challenge. Kyung Chan then took part in the follow-up Maths Olympiad in which he was one of only 13 students IN THE WORLD to get full marks! Absolutely incredible. Kyung Chan is currently awaiting the results of the second round of the Maths Olympiad. He is an incredibly hard-working mathematician who deserves every success and we are all extremely proud of his achievements. Well done, Kyung Chan!
