'Outstanding' start to the year!

As half term is approaching, I decided to get some feedback from subject teachers about how Year 11s had started this crucial year of their schooling.  Now, I know our students are fantastic, but I simply wasn't prepared for the overwhelming amount of responses I received.

Having asked subject teachers to provide me with the names of students who had made an OUTSTANDING start to the year, 98 teachers responded to nominate students for their exceptional attitude and attainment- a phenomenal amount.

As the Head of Year 11, this, of course, made me incredibly proud, and it was great to be able to share this with the Year 11 students in our assembly on Friday.

Below are just a few of the student nominations, but I am sure you will all join me in congratulating our year 11 students on an amazing start to the year. Well done, and let's keep it up!
